Aamstrand Ropes & Twines Inc. was founded in 1965. In an industry that has been dominated by companies over a century old, Aamstrand is a newcomer. The company was founded on the premise that change, innovation, and new technology are the elements needed in this industry calcified by tradition, outdated ideas, and methods. Now, after more than 50 years we believe Aamstrand to be the leader in our industry. Aamstrand brand products were being produced in Bedford Park, IL, until 1989, at which time the facility was expanded and moved to Manteno, IL where we have been for the past 27 years.

Aamstrand is financially sound. Even though we are able to save our customers money, we have always operated with good sound profit and will continue to do so. Our philosophy is to reduce our costs rather than raise our prices. You will be able to count on us for your rope requirements without fear of them not being here for you. Aamstrand guarantees its customers, large inventories to help with just in time inventory requirements. Customer trust is our future, this belief is, and will continue to be the very cornerstone of Aamstrand.

We must know and understand the talents and expertise of every rope manufacturer in the world and pool them with our own so that we may pass them on to our customers.
