Econobraid polyester has a low stretch polyester jacket with a polyester/ polypropylene blend core. This fiber combination has several main advantages: the polyester lends a high tensile strength, weather resistance, and abrasion resistance to the cord, while the polypropylene adds bulk and ensures its economy.
